1.Budgeting & Planning: Independent preparation of high value budgets ($50-60mn). Provide direct mentorship and leadership over the accounting, budgeting, and planning. Coordinating & supervising the preparation of strategic plans, budgets & financial forecast of In-country for HQ-Geneva. Preparation & finalization of budget for new proposals. Development, enhancement of grant management system for the grant; including systems for management of sub-grants to sub recipients.2.Management: Preparing contracts, ensuring appropriate terms & conditions are incorporated and ensuring compliance with grant requirements and applicable laws & regulations. Review donor agreements, partner agreements, & consultancy contracts by ensuring that organization’s interest is protected. Lead in Projects for implementation of financial systems. Responsible for reviewing & developing finance & accounts policies and procedures.3.Authorization: Authorized signatory for bank payments and POs.4.Monitoring: Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including all financial reporting and coordinating with the team to complete month end closure, the annual closure and project closure. Implement financial policies & procedures and monitoring budgets.5.Reporting: Developing reports & summarizing the business financial position in areas of income, expenses, capital usage & cash flows. Finalizing the books of accounts as per Indian laws. Preparation & submission of various statutory returns including Income Tax, Companies Act and FCRA. Supervise & coordinate the Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, Annual Reports etc. Providing reports to the Board/ Senior Leadership Team. 6.Compliances: With local, state, and federal government reporting requirements & tax filings, donor financial reports as per the donor formats and proposals.7.Representation: In global financial groups. Represent organization in grant negotiations, grant administration. Member of Internal Compliant Committee - POSH.
