• Worked with Dr. Dennis Hore and an interdisciplinary team of chemists, pharmacists, harm reduction workers, and social workers to establish a drug checking service at various harm reduction sites in Vancouver Island in an effort to help address the ongoing fentanyl crisis.• Interacted with various project stakeholders holders to discuss the requirements and expectations • End to end designed and implemented a public facing website ( https://substance.uvic.ca ) for Vancouver Island Drug-checking project which provides aggregate data and interactive data visualization on live drug-checking data along with other project related information.• End to end designed and implemented a web-based data analytics platform which allows researches in the project to perform data analysis and visualization on the drug-checking database to answer chemical research questions.• Designed and Implemented the drug-checking database synchronization solution among various drug-checking sites and a central drug-checking database server• Design and implemented a drug-checking database for Vancouver Island Drug-checking project in a team of two people.• Performed data analysis and visualization on drug-checking data to answer some initial chemical research questions and provided them to researchers to be used as reference.• The links below include some media coverage and have more information about the project.
