Managed the supply side for Americas market.

In my first stint as Area Sales Manager( TMT Bars) - West Bengal, my contributions were:1. Handled BHEL end to end, it was the company's biggest account in terms of annual top-line.2. Managed the documentation & participation for all government tenders.3. Developed several new accounts especially in Infra & Real Estate Segment, such as Shapoorji Palloonji, AmbujaNeotia, ACC, PS Group. Also developed several small trade accounts to increase consistency in sales & expand our footprint in the state.4. Organized several plant visits for product & brand approval, especially for the new customer Dilip Buildcon.5. Organized an influencer meet of prominent engineers & architects in Kolkata (as a team).6. Member of Product Re-branding Event Organizing Team7. Assisted in a project on customer research regarding brand perception of V-Xega TMT Bars8. Managed visits of Vedanta Group Chairman & Vice-Chairman.In my second stint as Area Sales Manager(Wire Rods) - Delhi NCR, my contributions were:1. Increasing SoW of existing key accounts like Bansal Group.2. Developed several small-medium size accounts (10+) in new markets of Karnal, Rohtak, Faridabad & Palwal.3. Coordinated the annual MoU signing activityThe general scope of responsibilities for both products included:1. Understanding the market price trends & booking orders to maximize NSR.2. Getting the order into system by coordinating with Order Management Team3. Ensuring clearance from finance team as well as Senior Management on case to case basis.4. Coordinating with the plant team for production schedules.5. Follow-up with logistics to ensure timely vehicle placement, loading & delivery.6. Coordinating with quality team in-case of any material defects & working for a resolution7. Ensuring superior customer service by providing timely delivery updates, regular financial reco, dispatching invoices & other documents as required.There were several instances when I went beyond the call of duty :)

Problem at hand: To analyse the reasons for CSD Denials worth 55 cr & suggest measures to reduce the same ( A denial is said to occur when a CSD canteen visits the CSD depot to pick up an SKU but it is not available i.e lost sales).My approach was:1. Conducted in-depth qualitative research with Sales & Supply Chain Team to understand the delivery process & identified potential reasons for denials.2. Collected primary data from CSD depots & Canteens in Delhi, Jharkhand & Maharashtra.3. Conducted in-depth analysis & discovered the root cause for denials.4. Formulated an algorithm to identify "priority SKUs" based on historical data. Increasing their availability was the only way to reduce denials.

As a member of Samsung Knox Team, my contributions were:1. Fixing UX/UI issues for several projects.2. Volunteered to visit Microsoft Hyderabad & assist in resolution of critical issues.3. Volunteered to visit Samsung R&D Bangalore & took handover a new sub-module.4. Took global ownership of the sub-module.I was a part of the New Employee Orientation organizing team :)
