A banker turned activist marching across the globe, trying to address the issue of child labour one day at a time. The journey from a volunteer at Global March Against Child Labour, the largest anti-child labour network, founded by Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi, to a Director has been filled with challenges but fulfilling at the same time.Learning and growing into different skills needs of the organisation and its network of civil society organisations across 35 countries has been an enthralling journey.Program design, management and monitoring, international relations, partnership building, advocacy and communications along with critical functions of board engagement, finance and operations management have been key to my role in the organisation.A passionate environmentalist at heart, trying to adopt a sustainable lifestyle each day while encouraging others to also do so (at times not so successfully :))
