The Partnerships Manager will be responsible for supporting the organization’s community relationsinitiatives that build relationships with hospitality partners and enhance the destination experience forvisitors. This position will be dedicated to managing the execution of partnerships functions for Discover Durham, maintaining a focus on three primary areas: facilitating partner engagement, increasingdestination intellectual capital among staff and partners, and exploring and supporting advocacyopportunities for Durham’s hospitality industry.

-Coordinate logistics and participate in site visits and familiarization tours to various Durham venues, hotels, partners, and attractions.-Handle logistics and assist in planning for lead-generation activities at tradeshows and conferences.-Research and recommend Durham event venues, create itineraries, and schedule appointments for meeting planners.-Provide meeting and event planners with signage, amenities, resource guidance, information about Durham, and logistical support, including delivery of supplies.-Support the execution of key stakeholder roundtables with event organizers, lodging properties, festival owners, etc.-Schedule and participate in Destination Durham presentations with local lodging properties to train frontline staff on promoting Durham as a visitor destination.-Support and nurture the relationship between Discover Durham and Durham festivals and cultural event organizers.

From plant-based classes for customers, in-store demos, promoting WFM health immersion programs for team members, along with focusing on social media marketing, internal team member training, and customer facing events & materials. I was also a media trained spokesperson for store support around healthy cooking, across Downtown Miami, FL to lastly, a Regional Healthy Eating Educator for the South Region, overseeing Eastern, NC communities.
