Henry “Hank” Richardson is the founder of D E F I N E body & mind, a wellness studio that offers barre-influenced fitness classes as well as education about wellbeing and whole food nutrition. DEFINE's mission is to foster sustaining communities that support health, happiness and community service.Hank is a former All-American Springboard and Platform Diver as well as National Team Member. Hank earned a full scholarship and graduated from the University of Florida. A few years after graduation, Hank noticed that his old injuries from diving were still causing him discomfort, and that pain was severely affecting his ability to enjoy work. With the encouragement of a friend, Hank took his first Pilates/Yoga/Ballet hybrid class, called CoreFusion, at Exhale spa in New York City. It was an epiphany. In short order, he was teaching and helping Exhale launch locations all over the country, including Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. In 2007 he moved back to Houston and earned an MBA at Rice University. His senior project was the foundation upon which DEFINE was built. He is pleased bring his own transforming exercise method to his hometown of Houston, TX.
