Keeping the wheels turning and the advertisements looking fresh.

As the Communications Lead for Paceline, I shared the story of what we do while growing our community of cancer fighters in Augusta, GA. I acted as a one-woman ad agency - communications planning and strategic vision; full-service graphic design with a strong emphasis on branding; social media management and content creation; coordination and design of all digital, traditional, and social advertising; public relations, writing, and editing; sales and marketing.

Designed communications materials for the Richmond County School System: manuals, guides, brochures, presentations, social media, website graphics, and branding on a district-wide level, and for individual departments and schools.

On a day-to-day basis, I am managing and advising student graphic designers as part of our in-house student newspaper (The Daily Gamecock) graphics department, creating a skeleton layout with advertisements for the newsroom each day, creating and managing ads for the newspaper 2 days a week, curating contest submissions, updating advertisements on dailygamecock.com, and being an accessible ally for all student media employees.

While still a student, was hired to create print graphics for both school events (posters, post cards, invitations, etc) as well as advertisements for USC Aiken that appeared in local yearbooks and newspapers. On several occasions, was a photographer at student and donor events and portraits of faculty. Also came up with the new slogan immediately implemented in a new USCA marketing campaign.

Created graphics, ads, and a new logo for USCA’s weekly students paper. Worked with several other editors, a business manager, and advertising clients. Participated in each production night by laying out pages, correcting photos, or prepping files for printing.

For 2 years, I created the layout, graphics, and was responsible for the overall art direction of a 56 page publication that showcases the creative talent of USC Aiken’s students. Also, led meetings and workshops for advertisement, poster and magazine design. Samples of my photography and fine art were published all four years I was eligable to submit material to the magazine.

Worked primarily with Where Magazine and its affiliates. Created and updated sales and marketing sheets for multiple publications as needed. Also designed several hospitality event invitations for cities across the United States, designed promotional sheets for magazine sales for individual markets as requested, designed e-mail signatures, and did layout and cover art for The Morris Communicator, a biannual newspaper publication distributed to Morris employees.
