As a member of the recruiting team, I work with managers across the company to fill technical, sales and administrative roles at all levels, from interns to the senior leadership. As the second employee in the East Hartford office, I helped build out the office, including interviewing and hiring staff, training and mentoring new and experienced staff members in addition to assisting with starting up up a new office, including furniture, decoration and equipment. My focus is on the machine tool industry, ranging from OEM's of capital equipment to service and support companies across North America. I work with companies to assess their long and short-term needs and help put together a comprehensive plan to help fulfill their needs. My goal with companies is to develop a deep understanding of their culture and growth plans so that I am able to work with them on a long-term basis to help them grow and maintain their market-leading position.The candidates that I work with are either seeking to move up within the industry or who are seeking to move into the machine tool field. My extensive client base allows me to present multiple options to candidates, depending on their long-term goals, skill set and level, desired income, travel requirements and location. As a recruiter, my focus is on the environmental and engineering fields in Connecticut, eastern New York and western Massachusetts. I recruit, interview, perform skill assessments and place candidates for a variety of positions including OSHA Hazwoper technicians, civil engineers, sales professionals and senior level managers. I also develop relationships with companies and clients to help them accurately determine their needs and present them with candidates that exceed their expectations.

Manage all phases of field removal operations, oversee personnel and subcontractors for government and commercial projects. Conduct planning and procurement, monitor cost/schedule and implement health and safety and quality control plans. Use analytical data to evaluate hazards and select best technology and removal approaches. Manage response crews during emergencies involving oil spills. Research local markets to identify new business opportunities and work to expand existing clients and services. Write and manage transporter permits for the New England offices.

Lead and assist with lab packs, laboratory moves, facility closures, and drum shipments throughout the New England/New York area. As a senior chemist, I also trained new chemists and worked with account managers in order to maximize client satisfaction and provide competitive pricing for services. Finally, I led multiple emergency responses for clients throughout New England that involved a variety of substances including high hazard chemicals.
