WESTFIELD FIRE DISTRICT

WESTFIELD FIRE DISTRICT is an all hazards fire department in the City of Middletown, Connecticut. We have a combination of full time paid and volunteer professionals responding to approximately 1,000 calls for service annually. The department has a fire marshals office that conducts annual inspections of buildings insuring compliance with the Connecticut Fire Safety Code as well as handling fire cause and origin investigations. We provide first responder emergency medical services in addition to fire suppression, hazardous materials, motor vehicle extrication and rescue services. Our fleet includes 2 engines, 1 engine/tanker, 1 ladder truck, 1 heavy rescue, 2 forestry trucks, 1 EMS squad truck and 1 UTV. We provide automatic and on-request mutual aid services to surrounding communities. The Westfield Fire Department welcomes new volunteer members - please stop by the station and talk to us.
