Handling business petitions (PERM) for all sorts of professions including Domestic Cooks and Engineers. Meeting with clients and exploring immigration options, filing with USCIS petitions and Asylums. Tasks performed by immigration paralegals may include:Communicating with clientsTranslating documents written in a foreign languageResearching the availability of, and then obtaining, documents from foreign countries, including visas and passportsLegal research on case law as related to immigrationEvaluating the equivalency of foreign degreesCoordinating paperwork related to papers for immigration or citizenship, including affidavits, petitions, applicationsPreparing papers for deportation
