I served as the Executive Deputy Prosecutor, in charge of the Crimes Against Children Unit, of the York County District Attorney's Office from 1999 - 2003. There I prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases, and conducted numerous jury trials. My primary focus was the prosecution of child sexual abuse, child homidice, and adult homicide cases. I was also responsible for the management of numerous attorneys and support staff, conducted law enforcement trainings, and held board membership positions on many community organizations.Beginning in 2003 I entered into the private practice of law. I worked with two local firms before establishing my own law office, Sullivan Yost, P.C. in May of 2006, with a business partner. In April of 2011, I established the Law Office of Deirdre Sullivan & Associates, P.C. Finally, in September of 2012, I joined the law office of Hoffmeyer and Semmelman, LLP. The current focus of my practice areas is decedent's estate administration, wills, trusts, criminal defense, bankruptcy, small business incorporation and representation.
