A dynamic highly motivated Howard University alumna, currently pursuing a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration at George Washington University. Employed at Sojourner Truth Montessori Public Charter School, she continues to gain administrative experience through cross-training in various departments including Supplemental Programs, Enrollment, and Data Management. Deja's career goals center around gaining the experience needed to make a positive impact in education, wishing to target school accountability to play her part in equitably preparing students for educational advancement.Deja also has special interest in working with language intensive K-12 schools and programs. She has studied Spanish since 2007, making use of those studies during missions abroad to the Dominican Republic, Spain, and Puerto Rico. Ambitiously, she aspires to become a polyglot, two languages (Arabic and French) she has already begun as she studied abroad in Rabat, Morocco her junior year of undergrad.
