- Manage fleet of 7 geostationary satellites and 5 satellite ground stations.- Accredited Principal Satellite Controller performing real-time on-console satellite operations responsible for stationkeeping, including all on-orbit spacecraft state-of-health assessments, issuing commands to the spacecraft, monitoring telemetry and supporting contingency response on Northrop Grumman STAR2, Maxar/SSL FS-1300, SSL LS-1300 LL & SSL-1300S bus type spacecrafts.- Spacecraft telemetry trending & anomaly response.- Maintain and operate ground TT&C systems, associated earth station technologies, spacecraft communications payload, telemetry/command systems, spacecraft and earth station RF and antenna theory and operation.- Performing preventative maintenance & test procedures on the TT&C systems, including scheduling and execution of routine spacecraft operations.- Regularly participate in Transfer Orbit TT&C support missions during the launch of other satellites as part of the global support network. Principal Baseband TT&C engineer during QZS-1R & OVZON3 TOS & HYLAS-1 BIU missions with operational knowledge of the Zodiac Cortex XL & Quantum CMD & TLM processing units.

• Analyze diagnostic tools and monitoring software to proactively interpret problems or symptoms that can lead to equipment failure or degradation of network efficiency. Take action to resolve such anomalies prior to failure impacting customer services. Control and monitoring of all major Optus Earth Stations within Australia and New Zealand. Configure various satellite transmission equipment such as: HPA-s, EIRP Controllers, Frequency Converters, Modulators, Modems, ASI switches etc.•Routine surveillance of the Satellite Spectrum, detection of the rogue signals & the maintenance of the records using Glowlink GeoLocator and CSM. Ensure all services are operating within their design parameters and assist all customers with the operations of their services.•Perform In Orbit payload Testing for Optus satellites to verify the integrity of the communications payload and the antenna platform following satellite launch, and prior to release of the satellite to Operations. Execute, verify & record results for following tests: TC& R Command Receiver Threshold Test, ALC/FGM Gain Transfer, ALC/FGM frequency response, ALC/FGM gain steps, FGM 3rd order intermods, Noise Power Ratios of the transponder, G/T & frequency translation, Spurious Signals of the Satellite receivers, Transponder Multipath, Antenna pattern Measurement & Beacon Measurements.•Perform antenna commissioning, antenna gain measurements and antenna performance certifications (sidelobe performance, OOB emissions, spectral density & crosspol isolation tests). Perform antenna commissioning on Advent ,Andrew, AVl, Cobham, ChannelMaster, Gigasat, Glebesat, Holkirk, Patriot, Prodelin, Seatel, Suman, Vertex•Installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting of VSAT network platforms: iDirect, Hughes,Gilat and Shiron.•Fully qualified on Advanced concepts for the Installation, Operation & Maintenance of iDirect HUB and VSAT components (Certificate in iDirect Custom iOM/QBC and iDirect Advanced IOM)
