•I provided technical support for Phase II ESAs, and remediation projects. Projects include active and inactive Department of Defense facilities, and industrial sites. COC’s include chlorinated solvents, RDX, and PFAS. Projects were managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) generally fell under regulatory guidance of CERCLA.PFAS project experience:I served as a Project Geologist on USACE managed projects at DoD facilities. -Luke Air Force Base, Arizona.: PFAS impacted groundwater in the vicinity of taxiway and firefighting training area. Coordinated and oversight of the installation of numerous groundwater monitoring wells in excess of 500 feet bgs utilizing sonic drilling technology. -Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho: PFAS impacted groundwater as a result from the use of fire suppression chemicals used during firefighting training exercises and firefighting. PFAS impacted groundwater quality in an adjacent potable water well designated for abandonment.-Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado: PFAS impacted groundwater beneath base recreational facilities as a result of fire suppression systems used by base fire-fighting crews. The Air Force Base utilized a GAC system to treat PFAS impacted groundwater. •Technical responsibilities include proposal preparation, prepared and reviewed Site Investigation and Remediation Workplans and Reports, data evaluation & interpretation, and multiple media sampling. Evaluation and understanding geological features and environmental conditions to properly prepare Corrective Action Plans (CAP), Sampling and Analysis Plans (SAP), Quality Assurance Plans (QAP).
