I am currently a Systems Instrumentation and Control Engineer at Atlas Copco Mafi-Trench Company LLC in Central Coast, CA. I began this role in June 2023 after graduating from the Colorado School of Mines in May 2023 with a non-thesis master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in Solid Mechanics/Materials and in December 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics, Magna Cum Laude. My original focus for my M.S. in Mechanical was Robotics and Automation before switching to Solid Mechanics, meaning I have a wealth of computing knowledge beyond that of a typical mechanical engineer. Through my summer internship at Atlas Copco Mafi-Trench Company, LLC. in the summer of 2021, I programmed a Microsoft HoloLens using Microsoft PowerBI to read live data from Rockwell PLC sensors. Additionally, my time spent in both the physics department and the mechanical engineering department at Mines gave me a thorough understanding of engineering and allowed me to complete multiple semesters of projects, including building a working hydrogen generator, completing a CFD analysis of an F1 rear wing, and redesigning a summer course focused on vacuum technology and thin-film deposition. Due to my many years as a member of the Mines Cheerleading team, I am a HUGE Oredigger fan and plan on supporting our athletics for years to come. During my 4 seasons on the team, I was the team treasurer for 2 seasons, and I also helped guide our team from a student club to an official sport under Mines Athletics during my final year.
