I enjoy breaking things and finding ways to fix them-- tinkering with things to discover how they work.Hello! I am a recent graduate of Georgia Southern University with a BSIT focusing in cybersecurity. I have a team-centric, empathetic approach to leadership. I love engaging with teams and providing diverse perspectives to help solve complex problems. I have led multiple projects between my undergraduate classes and my Summer 2021 internship. I am very communicative both orally and in writing. Goalposts are my biggest motivation when tackling a project; I create structure where I don't see it.I have since started a full-time, remote position with Alithya (formerly Vitalyst) where I am a Productivity Consultant. I am happy to work with and help others to establish effective solutions to a broad range of technical problems, from software to networking and much more. Alithya has given me so much room to grow; in the time I've had with the company, I have already begun studying for Oracle Human Capital Management and Microsoft Admin/Endpoint certifications with a goal of involving myself with network and security analytics for the company.I have participated in multiple hackathons for fun, from the National Cyber League semester competitions to Georgia Southern's own Southern Hacks (2019 and 2020). I often spent time outside of classes and work to practice and build knowledge in other IT fields (e.g., CodeAcademy & free workshops). In April of 2021 I was inducted as a founding member of Georgia Southern's cybersecurity chapter: Omicron Sigma Sigma.I am most confident with Python 3, PowerShell, JavaScript and SQL with an understanding of Bash, PHP and C/C++. Regarding software, I am familiar with Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel), VMWare, Windows (Server w/ Active Directory) and Linux (Kali, Ubuntu).In my free time I enjoy playing video games. I was a member of an e-sports organization within Georgia Southern, playing for and later coaching the Overwatch team (2017-2020). If I'm not playing video games, I am likely playing with my dogs or organizing my Pokémon card collection!
