Worked to bring together the new field of cyber statecraft with traditional national security and international relations for the Cyber Statecraft Initiative with the Scowcroft Center on International Security within the Atlantic Council. Primary responsibility was to support "Cyber 9/12" an innovative event which presses leaders in government and private industry to explore day-after responses to a major cyber attack.

Republic Of Korea

Commands a 95-member Military Intelligence company consisting of geographically separate detachments and a headquarters element in the Republic of Korea. Responsible for identifying and neutralizing counter-espionage threats; ensures the health, morale, and welfare of the company’s Soldiers, Korean Augmentees to the United States Army, civilians and family members. • Developed a strategy for linking company training events with strategic and political goals on the Korean peninsula; integrated Korean SWAT teams with US weapons training to strengthen the alliance between the Republic of Korea and US Forces - Korea• Contributed to the development of the intelligence enterprise in the Pacific by executing a combined Republic of Korea and US interrogation exercise; new relationships with three Korean units built mutual trust and a shared understanding.• Routinely briefed General Officers on intelligence vulnerabilities and provided mitigation strategies; two-pronged strategy for cyber defense reduced critical incidents by 30% from FY12 to FY13.

Planned, coordinated, and managed the US Army foreign aid and humanitarian relief programs across nine Iraq provinces. Responsibilities included increasing program capacity, developing budget spending plans, and assessing program effectiveness. Developed a progressive training program to build relationships across disparate organizations resulting in the first-ever conference for local, regional, and national level Iraqi Army disaster response personnel. Generated quarterly spend plans and program reports in order to maximize budget effectiveness and increase program capacity. Acted independently to create system for preserving historical files and managed its implementation. Accurate information on over 8,000 initiatives is now accessible to external agencies for improved coordination and information sharing.Responded to four inquiries from external agencies to resolve concerns about grant and project management. Ensured effective personnel operations by providing personnel with monthly performance assessments and making quarterly promotion and training recommendations to senior leadership.

Led a 12-person section to manage over 480 foreign aid grant requests and project proposals. Cultivated and maintained relationships with private security firms, other US Government and local government entities, as well as foreign government officials in order to develop program capacity while ensuring long-term benefits.Leveraged personal relationships to provide more than 100 small-businesses with grants and over 30 provincial and local government divisions with essential services initiatives. Coordinated with community agencies to present 30-hours of training on essential services operations for 43 personnel. Recognized by the Regional Comptroller and senior State Department officials as the subject matter expert on applicable regulations and plans for US Army foreign aid in Iraq. Influenced policy to decrease inefficiencies and reduce redundancies.
