Also work on projects with legacy databases to provide a web front end for superannuation information to customers.At Dept of Emergency Service I was involved in the development, maintenance and training of their Intranet.In their development i was involved in creating their phone book portlet, their calendar of events portlet, their HR template system for creating quick position descriptions.Their intranet is a crucial component for their e-strategy in that it became the most effective way for the Fire and Ambulance department to communicate among their many branches all through Queensland state.At Qld Treasury Corp being involved in the development of their customer information management System a crucial application that is used through out the organisation to liaise with their vast array of customers.Being involved in their corporate search application system it uses IBMs OmniFind. Corporate search is a vital system asset used widely through out the organisation.Being involved in the development of their Intranet creating several portlets such as a Recently Access portlet (a way to view your most recent accessed documents or searches) as well as a news portlet (an RSS reader that reads from several financial news outlets) Single Customer View ( a portlet that amalgamates different views of a client that are scatter through out many diverse apps)At the moment am involve in the further development of QTC intranet further redeveloping and redesigning it.Was responsible for providing advice and building a poc solution based on angular js and bootstrap In my spare time I got involved in designing and developing two android apps One is bus link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.nando.nearestbusWhich provides public transport information for the South East Queensland area.The app has been written natively uses various webservices
