Lead Engineer responsible for the delivery of the detailed design of all export lines on the Khazzan Project (Jacobs/BP), a large-scale tight gas field development in Oman. In charge of the delivery of all engineering output for the detailed design of a B31.8 36" Gas Export Pipeline (60 km, >100 bar), B31.4 10" Condensate Export Pipeline (70 km, >70 bar) and ISO 13623 Produced Water Reinjection Pipeline and spur lines (22 km, >250 bar), including two pressure let-down and metering stations. Lead a team of experts from FEED validation until completion of detailed design across all pipeline disciplines, including process, mechanical, piping, metallurgy, integrity, civil, instrumentation, and construction.

Pre-FEED engineering on gas and condensate export pipelines on the Jackdaw Project (BG Group) in the North Sea, including P&IDs, PLEM design, flow assurance, pigging philosophies, isolation philosophies, pipeline approach and routing, and cost estimates.Engineering and engineering management for the fabrication and installation of two offshore met masts inthe North Sea for as part of the East Anglia ONE Offshore Windfarm project (Vattenfall). Responsible for thedelivery of all engineering packages including design modifications, pile driving analysis verification,offshore and onshore lifting operations, trunnion design and fabrication, grout seal specification, coatingsystems, installation aids, method statements, risk assessments and schedules of work. Site engineeringand supervision of remediation work. Preparation and negotiation of claims from WGK to third partiesinvolving technical, contractual (FIDIC) and commercial aspects.

Engineering on the Gladstone Liquefied Natural Gas Project (Santos), a large-scale Coal Seam Gas andWater Gathering Network in Queensland, Australia. Pipeline engineering, routing, fittings positioning (formed bends, high-point vents, low-point drains, instruments), CP design. Review and final sign-off of alignment sheets. Creation of typical drawings (e.g. buried valves, spool assemblies) and specific drawings (e.g. isometrics, pipeline station approaches). Design of GRE pipelines including algorithmic optimisation in VBA of the placement of formed bends to standardise types and minimise their number.

Stability analysis of surface-laid underwater pipelines as per DNV-RP-F109. Design of offshore structures as per API RP 2A-WSD, including shallow foundations and piles.Project Manager of a concept design study for the design and installation of subsea high-pressure waterpipelines.Engineering of onshore and subsea cable installation including routing and entry into structures and landfalls. Supervision of offshore survey campaigns.

Client experience: Tengizchevroil, GASCO, Saudi Kayan, SSE.Mechanical / stress design for HPHT buried pipelines, including soil mechanics and pipe-soil interaction, high-sour gas, upheaval buckling remediation.Design and supervision of geotechnical tests in Tengiz, Kazakhstan, to assess backfilling effectiveness against upheaval. Inspection of buckled pipe and supervision of remediation work.Steady-state and transient flow assurance on oil, gas, water, and ammonia pipelines, including surge analysis, sensitivity to closure time, tie-in feasibility, network modelling, phase envelopes.Subsea cable design and installation engineering for export and intra-array cables on the Greater Gabbard Windfarm (SSE).
