Delight Muchazondida is a dynamic youth development professional with half a decade of practical experience in guiding and participating in the formulation, implementation, and tracking of governance-related policies, and procedures that facilitate national sustainable development and intersectional meaningful youth representation and participation. I am highly skilled in debate and public speaking and have been using that skillset to promote deliberative dialogue, tracking and reviewing government, civil society organizations (CSOs), and related stakeholder programs, and evaluating partners' reports with a focus on results-based management systems.Delight has provable and transferable expertise in guiding government line ministries and departments, central and local government officials, traditional leaders, CSOs, and donor communities on public sector reforms, policy analysis, policy tracking, policy monitoring and evaluation, policy papers, policy briefs, youth, and gender mainstreaming, value for money and intersectional interventions, decentralization and community owned and driven development process. Delight Muchazondida is a seasoned debater, moderator, and facilitator of an expansive national development agenda spanning from social issues at the family level to national socio-economic development processes. He has paneled 35+ television shows on a local program called Mai Chisamba aimed a preserving progressive local cultures and key indigenous knowledge systems. During the build-up to the Zimbabwe 2023 harmonized elections, Delight Muchazondida was the main panelist of the MyVote television program that aimed at educating young people on Zimbabwe's electoral system and processes. He was a key informant of the Zifm radio program called What Youth Want. He continues to be invited by the media to speak on different issues In different capacities.Delight Muchazondida has a proven history of achievement in effective public policy, governance, and parliamentary process advocacy. In 2020 Delight was the team leader of the Zimbabwe Youth Policy Tracking Group (ZYPG) under the Zimbabwe Youth Council and was responsible for conducting public hearings during the 2020 Zimbabwe national constitution amendment Bill No. 2, the process resulted in the allocation of 10 youth seats under the quota system. Delight participated in the 2019 Youth Policy validation meeting. He has multilingual proficiency in English (Very good), Shona (Excellent), and Ndebele (Fair).
