CurrentServe young and emerging adults, ages 16 through 24, who meet eligibility requirements of the program, in various ways. Assist participants in identifying strengths, evaluating and overcoming challenges, in order to obtain a path towards long-term employment and self-sufficiency. Provide Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS), through various activities including; job exploration counseling, work-based learning experience, postsecondary education counseling, workplace readiness training, and introduction in self-advocacy. Coordinate work-readiness training courses with local high schools, and create curriculum for the courses on; job applications, résumés, interviews, skills identification, career assessments, workplace scenarios, and completing an individual portfolio.
