In close collaboration with the Chair of Cell Biology (CB) and the Center for Epigenetics Research (CER), I coordinate scientific operations, including those of large NIH-funded center grants, and help to develop and present the center's scientific projects and mission, including the management of requests for funding applications. For wide projects and programs, I manage the communication, networking and coordination at all levels. I also support end-to-end grant activity of investigators in CB and CER by identifying opportunities for peer-reviewed funding, locating suitable applicants, providing support with grant preparation, scientific writing and editing, producing timely submission of proposals, and ensuring timely and accurate follow-up with the goal to ensure maximal external research funding. I am also involved in the management of awarded research projects and carry responsibilities ranging from a variety of reporting to overseeing budget compliances and providing cost analyses.
