Currently work as a Project Coordinator & Wildlife Biologist for Environmental Intelligence.Wetland Delineation Certification with the Wetland Training Institute in San Diego, CA. Consisted of a web based lecture designed to cover history of soils, riparian vegetation, waters and wetland areas. Additionally, this course held separate field component that allowed participants to learn the technical guidelines for wetland delineation, field indicator of hydrophobic vegetation, hydric soils and wetland hydrology for making jurisdictional determination and methods to apply to difficult situations.Worked as a Staff Biologist for various biological sub consultants. This work consisted of the assessment of sensitive resources on or near infrastructures scheduled for construction to determine existing environmental conditions, status of special status species, and proposed best measures for minimal impacts of biological resources during construction activities.California Red Legged Frog workshop with the Wildlife Project in Petaluma, CA. Consisted of web based lecture designed to cover natural history and behavior of CRLF. Additionally, held separate field component that allowed participants to observe and handle CRLF under permitted biologists.Worked as a project coordinator for Forde Biological Consultants. Planned and implemented projects, timelines and goals for various contracts in environmental consulting. Interned with the International Bird Rescue in San Pedro, California as a Wildlife Rehabilitation Volunteer Intern with a focus on aquatic bird rehabilitation and oil spill response. Gained skills such as handling techniques, herd health management, Intensive/critical care including tube feeding, fluid therapy, taking blood samples, performing exams, and triage. Volunteered with The Gentle Barn to help care for rescued farm animals.Volunteered with Reach Out Volunteers traveling overseas to Cambodia and Nepal to build classrooms, teach English, and work with wildlife.Obtained a Bachelor’s in Biology with a concentration of Organismal Ecology and Zoology from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU).
