Creating websites, book covers, print ads and signage are some of the tasks I find myself doing in my day as a graphic designer. Helping companies share their unique brands with the world, not only with art, but by solving problems so that the clients I work with can focus on other aspects of their business. My current interest is to take on a software developer role that will help me with my goal to transition from a student and hobbyist to a professional in my field.I have had a passion building software since my first WinForms project in Visual Basic, to my current project which aims to automate 85% of my Adobe Illustrator workflow through the use of Adobe CEP, VueJS, and Node. I have grown a lot since that first project by utilizing different languages and technologies that best help me to accomplish the task at hand. In school I worked and assisted on several topics and technologies. My work in graphics programming involved projects that utilized DirectX and OpenGL, Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution in HLSL, Scene Graph Management, as well as User Interface Design.I developed many tools that aided in the speed and ease of development for both personal and group projects, including Level Editors, a GUI Editor, Shader Viewer, and a Cut Scene Manager. My backend knowledge is primarily with NodeJS and utilizing MongoDB and Nedb NoSQL databases, and simple SQL queries.
