As the Creative Manager at Craftsy, I was responsible for managing a team of seven creatives, project managing cross-functional marketing initiatives, producing all photoshoots, and providing photography direction.I also managed the department budget which included staffing, capital expenses and project budgets. As the first retoucher at Craftsy I had the unique opportunity to define and develop the role from scratch. I identified the need for improved usability with our digital asset management platform and worked with internal DAM engineers to customize the digital workflow and end-user experience, increasing usability, saving time for our team and our internal clients. I also trained and mentored full time and freelance retouchers and managed their workload.In the photography role, I was able to identify several processes to update, making them significantly more efficient. This included both studio setup, equipment and software use and workflow process. My photography experience includes ecommerce consumer packaged goods, marketing campaigns and digital content assets (set stills, lifestyle, food, projects), often styling the product and sets.As my responsibilities expanded, I took on workflow and traffic management, scheduling, budgeting, freelance sourcing, talent scouting, and retrospectives.
