White's Residential & Family Services created the first internal marketing department in 2015. Key role responsibilities are providing strategic direction for marketing and communications for service lines such as Compass Rose Academy, a national private residential treatment program, White's Residential treatment programs serving Indiana Youth, Foster Care Services state-wide, fundraising initiatives, and other agency strategic goals. Strategic Planning and Market Analysis: Assisted leadership through research and development of the child welfare industry to help White's established and build their residential treatment programs to provide maximum revenue and quality services. Outreach: Created an outreach position and plan to help drive revenue for residential programs across the state for a 110-bed facility in Wabash, Indiana, and a 30 + bed facility in Northwest Indiana. Marketing: Lead the agency through a rebranding process that resulted in creating all new business development materials, website, and overall mission development.Communication: Co-lead and provided direct assistance to the agency's public relations firm for all strategic communication planning for acquiring a new service line in 2017, long-term succession planning and retirement of CEO and other key positions, and crisis communication needs. Event Planning: Provides support for all engagement activities, from fundraising to business development events. As a founding team member for a large nonprofit that created a new program for at-risk teen girls, my primary responsibilities were strategic program development and market research. After launch, my role resulted in building and leading the creation of an admission department, outreach activities nationally, and responsible for managing all external marketing activities with a consulting firm. Strategic Program Development: Research national programs and guided the board of directors, CEO, and senior leadership on launching a new program through a thorough market analysis for the new services line. I lead the team through the creation of all policies, procedures, and systems for a national program launch. In this role, I lead my department and the agency through the final building phase of a significant capital campaign. White's Residential and Family Services built a student union that combined many critical business areas under one building and department. Primary responsibilities were to lead all committees through the final construction phase, transition all key business functions to the new building. Launch a unified department by creating all policies and procedures for five operational business functions into one team to serve the agency. Lead committees through the building and transition phase of the following key areas: food service, front desk/receptionist, mission and history preservation, and interior design. By managing committees dedicated to making a smooth transition for vital business functions. Additionally, I helped steer vision and strategic planning for future use of the new facility for stakeholders. After a successful transition, I begin my role as facilities and program coordinator for the Student and Family Life Center. I lead and supervised food service, reception desk operations, and event planning for the agency. Primary key objectives were to create all policies and procedures for all areas along with supervising over 20 employees and all day-to-day operations.
