I have served as a Public Safety Officer at Portland State University for over ten years. In that time, I have helped create the Portland State University Police Association. I currently serve as the President on it's Executive Board. I have received many certificates during my career such as De-escalation Tactics, Interpersonal Violence Advocate, ASIST Suicide Intervention, CPR/AED, and Emergency Management and Incident Command to name just a few. I've recently switched my focus to Project Management. I'm skilled at moving people and equipment and communicating with a team. I have a passion for coordination, networking, and making ideas become reality. In my spare time, I manage a motorsports teams as a co-driver. My role as a co-driver is centered around precise time management, staying abreast of pertinent schedules and information, making sure our equipment is in working order, and communicating with a team of individuals from service/mechanic folks to drivers and beyond. I received my undergraduate degree from Portland State University in sociology. Earning a degree in Sociology has given me a great sense of awareness and it has given me a way to connect with the diverse community that populates Portland State University and the world around me. I am an artist at heart and a creative minded thinker. I enjoy problem solving and innovative work-flow processes. In my spare time, I pursue photography, gardening, self-development, videography, social media management, motorsports, and fitness. I'm constantly broadening my horizons and I have an extreme thirst for knowledge no matter the subject.I am currently looking for new opportunities in Project Management.
