Senior Program Scheduler
CurrentKey staff member managing master program schedules for major transportation projects in the Portland Tri-County region. Manage the scheduling function for the Engineering & Construction Division (ECD) to facilitate decision making and ensure on-time completion of division projects. Develop, update, maintain, and report monthly progress status for the portfolio of ECD projects including agency wide projects with impacts to transportation operations and/or customers. Develop, manage, and update master program schedules for major transit expansion projects. Create work program and implementation schedules for engineering, prioritization of right of way acquisitions, owner furnished material procurements, permitting, third party utility relocations, construction, start-up and operational readiness schedules. Prepare monthly and quarterly schedule updates reporting status, variances to targets, and forecast completion to TriMet staff, partner stakeholders, FTA and PMOC constituents.Resource load ECD master schedule to review staffing demands and support resource allocation; Cost load program schedules for major transit projects seeking FTA Capital Improvement Grant funding to determine financing needs and cash flow requirements. Review contractor baseline and progress update schedules. Evaluate workaround and recovery plans as needed. Monitor actual performance progress and analyse variances to target plan. Forecast milestone completion and coordinate interface turnovers to follow-on contractors. Conduct time and cost impact analysis to support and/or avoid claim issues. Participate in budget, schedule, contingency and risk assessment workshops to help leadership determine optimal sequencing of major work packages and demonstrate project readiness to the FTA (Federal Transit Authority) and PMOC (Project Management Oversight Committee). Monitor schedule and budget performance reporting on progress.
