As a rising senior at California State University, East Bay majoring in Public Health with a minor in Nursing, I am dedicated to improving health outcomes and equity. My academic journey and passion for public health led me to a research internship with the Stanford School of Medicine's Advancing Health Equity and Diversity program. In my role as a research intern, I have been analyzing the implementation and utilization of California's Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) initiative across the state. My work involves conducting extensive community outreach and engagement to gather diverse perspectives and insights. I synthesize both qualitative and quantitative data using R to provide a comprehensive analysis of CalAIM's impact on health equity.Through my efforts, I have contributed to a deeper understanding of how CalAIM is being implemented and utilized, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for improvement. My analysis supports informed decision-making and policy development aimed at enhancing health equity for Medi-Cal recipients in California. This experience has strengthened my research skills and reinforced my commitment to addressing health disparities in marginalized communities
