I have a good deal of life & work experience. I respect others, without qualification, and I have a strong work ethic. I especially believe in the importance of teamwork, as well as in making the effort to be an effective member of a team.I have worked in a number of roles in both the public and private sectors, including long term commissioned service in the RAAF. My work experience covers project planning, management and scheduling, financial management, contract management and conduct of audits. Also, I’ve undertaken research & investigation tasks, as well as production and editing of documentation, particularly that of a specialist and/or technical nature.I believe in the critical importance of proper research & investigation plus accurate planning & scoping, including relevant resourcing and attention to detail, for each and every project or task, regardless of its nature or objective(s).I have extensive experience in the development, set-up and control of projects, focused as the basis for effective project and programme management, with an emphasis upon delivering “on budget and on time”. I am especially focussed on the most efficient possible use of resources through careful research, planning, preparation and monitoring. I regard an accurate and reliable schedule as a key element in this regard.Stakeholder engagement as well as staff management, development and mentoring have been acknowledged as strong suites. Effective preparation for, and conduct of, relevant Change Management has also been an integral feature of the roles that I have undertaken.Additionally, I am an experienced writer & editor of specialist documentation, including reports, instructions, submissions & briefs, including academic theses, publications, technical reports and Ministerial correspondence at the Federal level. This particular experience has led me to undertake roles focussed on quality management and quality assurance.
