Half way through my internship I was appointed Lead Estimator for a project competitively bid. I invited, managed, and organized bids received from over 20 trades. I clarified and defined the scope of work for each trade to ensure that all bids received were compared equally. Maintained active communication with Owner Representatives during the bidding process. As part of the RFP, I put together the bid package and also scheduled the project using Microsoft Project. I attended the proposal review meeting to answer questions for the Architect and the Owner Representatives.
