As a Chassis Subteam Member at Matador Motorsports, I applied my mechanical engineering skills and knowledge to design, validate, and document the chassis of a Formula SAE race car. I worked with a team of dedicated and passionate student engineers who share the same vision of creating a competitive and innovative vehicle. In addition to my chassis engineering role, I also provide supplemental support to other subteams, such as suspension, drivetrain, and aerodynamics, by assisting with manufacturing, testing, and troubleshooting.Before joining Matador Motorsports, I worked as a Special Education Teaching Assistant at Los Angeles Unified School District for 15 years, where I supported students with special needs in their academic, social, and emotional development. I also worked as a Behavioral Therapist at Autism Response Team for 11 years, where I provided in-home and community-based intervention services to children with autism spectrum disorder. Through these experiences, I developed core competencies in communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and empathy, which I apply to my current engineering endeavors.I am a recent mechanical engineering graduate from California State University, Northridge. I am passionate about learning new technologies and applying them to real-world challenges. My field of expertise is mechanical design and analysis, and I have proficiency in verification and validation, manufacturing, and document management. I am also interested in exploring other areas of engineering, such as robotics, automation, manufactoring, and renewable energy. My goal is to become a well-rounded and versatile engineer who can contribute to the advancement of society and the environment.
