I am interested in all aspects of natural objects that enter our atmosphere - from micrometer dust particles to dangerous asteroids. Recently, I expanded my expertise to Space Situational Awareness (SSA) with the advent of mega-constellations, and to atmospheric physics and severe weather due to the increase in the visible effects of climate change.I leverage my formal training in computer science to apply AI and machine learning methods in my work. I am the founder and coordinator of the Global Meteor Network, an open-source project with over 1000 cameras worldwide that aims to observe every accessible meteor, track satellites, and observe atmospheric phenomena.
