The Washington Spirit is a player-first club committed to elevating the women's game, serving our community, and empowering world-class athletes to be the best role models for aspiring women worldwide.I held many titles with the organization, including VP of Administration, VP of Operations, Chief Administrative Officer, and VP of Sporting Operations.Ultimately, it was my job to make the organization more efficient. When I joined the team, everything we did was in an Excel file. I modernized our administrative operations by spearheading the organization's adoption of new technology around payroll, expenses, budgeting, accounting, and project management-based tools. I ensured our club was league-compliant and followed operations, competition, safe sport, and CBA guidelines. I also streamlined our gameday operations for events with up to 20,000 people, including following timelines for nationally televised games, fan and player safety, and match day activations.Our player satisfaction increased as we implemented various team-wide communications, increased our staffing needs around player development, and enhanced our travel processes with a new scheduling app, travel system, and per diem cards for expenses.

I joined FC Virginia when we had 7 teams. When I left to join the Spirit, we had 50, and I was responsible for all administrative and club operations. I managed facility relations and gameday operations, including uniforms, officiating, rosters, and coaching support, and oversaw event coordination for youth camps.This growth forced us to be creative, efficient, and technically sound so the organization could grow with the teams. We standardized our digital presence and implemented multiple systems to ensure we operated effectively and efficiently.I also spearheaded general communications internally and externally with website maintenance, newsletters, and being the point person responsible for disseminating critical information to members, team managers, and coaches.

FSA Federal serves the U.S. federal law enforcement and homeland security communities by providing high-quality administrative, legal, and investigative support services.I was the administrative liaison for 250 DOJ contractors, managing timesheets, travel authorizations, employee onboarding, training, and various databases.I leaned into my marketing background to create and distribute a newsletter to 11 other states to increase communication and support other staff members with best practices.I customized our onboarding process and trained other staff members in other regions on implementation.

National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) is the leading advocacy organization for advancing public parks, recreation, and conservation.I joined the organization as an HR Coordinator and embraced the opportunity to lead our onboarding processes and learn the efficiencies that an effective timekeeping system can bring.I moved into marketing in 2008, overseeing print management for various marketing materials, including brochures, postcards, flyers, invitations, and other promotional materials. I designed ads and developed copy for written and digital communications while ensuring logo integrity.
