I am currently processing small business loans to purchase commercial real property and machinery under the SBA guaranty program. I review business entity documents, purchase agreement, leases and other documentation required to close a commercial loan. I also anticipate title and closing issues and resolve them pre-funding. My additional duties include reviewing appraisal reports and resolving complex loan structure issues while ensuring that they meet SBA guidelines.

I processed SBA 504 loans to assist small businesses with purchasing commercial buildings, machinery and equipment. I was promoted to Sr. Loan Closing Specialist which included the additional duties of assisting other processors with closing issues and occasionally reviewing their work. I also trained all newly hired Closing Specialists. As part of my training duties I developed training procedures and materials for this company. For a period of time I was also the Closer responsible for closing loans under the companies Interim Loan program. As part of my closing duties I developed procedures for the processing and funding of these loans.

During my time at Bank of America I gained experience processing SBA Express loans, 7a loans and 504 loans. In each of these departments I managed a high volume of loan closings. While on the 7a team I was promoted to Loan Administration Officer III and then a Team Lead position. My duties as a Team Lead included reviewing loan files, training others, assigning files, and processing my own loan pipeline. I was then promoted to Assistant Vice President. My additional duties included testing Laserpro updates and training others on the changes to the Laserpro system.

At The Money Store I gained my first experience with SBA loan closings. During my time with this business I learned to process commercial loan packages for 7A, 504 and Conventional loans nationwide. In the last year with the bank I was promoted to a Team Lead. My job duties then included file reviews, training processors, and assigning loan files. I was part of a couple of project teams which included training others on LaserPro and preparing a job aid checklist called a Job Tool.
