CurrentProposal writing and funding applications: Over the past 10 years, I have written numerous successful proposals for Homework Club, recreation, arts and summer park programming. I have also secured funding for the past 10 years for summer staff for 5 west end community houses.Community Development: Working with community members in the Winthrop Court community, our team successfully advocated and fundraised for a community park and children's play space. The process involved over ten years of vision and partnership development. Inspiration Park opened in 2013, and was the first new City of Ottawa Park in Bay Ward in over 20 years. Coordinated a community facility, supervising a staff team of 7 part time staff and a cadre of students and volunteers. Our team is responsible for the delivery of 19 hours of enrichment and community building programming for children and youth. We also run a weekly soup social program for adults. I manage multiple budgets ensuring efficient and effective use of resources and commitment to accountability. Report writing, evaluation and project monitoring are a strength.
