Recently served as an Administrative Assistant I in a high paced Project Management Office. The Role was split between a few areas of expertise to include making phone calls,scheduling appointments, and managing multiple calendars. Another aspect of the role was to provided backup assistance as needed to our Senior Administrative Assistant III. Managed all of the companies domestic travel from planning employees airfare, car rentals, and hotel reservations. Worked with our procurement office to process incoming RFPs and other purchase requirements including purchase orders. Another area of expertise was to prepare and handle all of our companies 141 pieces of government equipment valued over $1 million dollars.

During my time in the Navy I had the opportunity to circle the world, becoming very familiar with different cultures and ethnics. As an Aviation Structure Mechanic with the E-2C aircraft, it is a very high demanding and stressful position on meeting timelines and deadlines within a short period of time. Needing to make quick decisions as a team and come up with solutions to problems quickly and efficiently. Worked for the commands Maintenance Officer to develop and implement a Navy wide training program called ASM. Computed, recorded, and oversaw data records and reports. While working as his secretary I learned valuable skills in not only managing my own time but also helping to manage another’s schedule and prioritize meetings and deadlines.
