As a Senior Business Analyst for the Donor Experience Management team, I am responsible for gathering new requirements for our GiveBlood Apps and Donor Portal (blood.ca). As a Product Manager, I collected, documented and validated the business processes, business requirements, and acceptance criteria for data loading in Mxi's enterprise class COTS software, Maintenix. Initiated a win/loss analysis program that was accepted by the executive team to improve Mxi’s understanding of their competitive positioning and to provide ideas for future product development. Managed and led the Maintenix Technical User Group consisting of senior IT professionals representing key accounts from all over the world, to build customer relationships and to collaborate and develop technical requirements.

Developed and managed the overall release schedule ensuring each team was moving towards the release milestones by closely monitoring software defects and change requests. Applied ISO 9001 standards to every step in the software development lifecycle from requirements to testing, ensuring executive/senior management sign-off was achieved at every step. Assembled, packaged and tested escrow deliverables on a regular basis to meet contractual obligations.

Facilitated smooth and timely delivery of software releases while liaising with many business units including Project Management. Analyzed nightly unit test reports to ensure 99% success rate and assigned failing unit tests to the appropriate software developers to fix. Maintained and updated database scripts for Maintenix migrations keeping them up to date with new functionality. Responsible for creating development databases for developers and adding new tables, columns, indexes to the data model.

Developed web based aviation maintenance management software using Java and JSP. Developed new features, triaged defects and fixed bugs. Involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including requirements, detailed design, development, unit testing and integration testing. Maintained and led unit testing standards.
