Volunteer Corrdinator
Current• Management and growth of the Volunteer Program which includes corporate volunteers and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) groups, Summer Youth Employment Program participants, interns, and individual volunteers• Maintaining and fostering relationships with current volunteer partner organizations as well as seeking out and developing new partnerships for volunteer/interns.• Collaborating with the team of warehouse associates to organize materials and create tasks for all volunteers and interns.• Scheduling all groups and maintaining the calendar of events for volunteer/ intern groups and responds to all emails and phone calls in a timely manner.• Maintaining and ordering all necessary supplies for corporate/volunteer/intern/school groups.• Work closely with Friends of Materials of the Arts, Development Manager to research and build the CSR program and to co-host social events in the warehouse.• Preparation of monthly progress reports, evaluations, and other data necessary for grant reporting and any DCLA required reporting.• Represents MFTA externally at outreach events, including but not limited to conferences, local community events and all volunteer/ intern recruitment events.• Assist with check-in and checkout on shopping days and assists with all special projects at both MFTA’s warehouse and offsite venues.
