    • Managed two high-visibility, multimillion dollar 2010 Census geocoding projects (during peak decennial operations) and received “Special Achievement Awards” for both projects. • Improved interagency communications with the creation of the 2010 Census Postal Liaison manual, which explains the Census Bureau’s working relationship with the U.S. Postal Service (USPS), contract vendors and the role and responsibilities of the• Regional Census Center (RCC) Postal Liaison and Regional Office (RO) staff during the2010 Census.• Managed the 2010 Census RCC Postal Liaison problem sheet, which listed any currentproblem or concern the Census RO employees had when interacting with USPS staff in the field. This information, in addition to my input, was used to create new policies for Census staff interacting with the USPS during Census decennial operations.• Created the 2010 Census Mapping Operations Guide, a comprehensive manual cataloging each paper map created for Field Division (FLD) and non-FLD operations. The mapping operations guide also provided instruction on the quantity of paper maps needed, printing schedule and intended audience for each map.• Provided geographic software requirements (as part of the lifecycle process) to the LAN Technology Support Office (LTSO) and the Geography Division for the creation and modification of internal geographic products.• Compiled statistics on map sheet workloads and created the 2010 Census mapping supplies estimates. Management used the estimates to determine the proper quantities of mapping supplies the regional geographers would need to create operational maps.

Census employees used this information to receive, send, and process Census mail.• Oversaw, reconciled and reported on all express parcel activity (Federal Express (FedEx) and United Parcel Service (UPS) activity).• Obtained, maintained, reviewed and provided reports on monthly, year-to-date, and annual FedEx and UPS shipping and financial reports. Prepared cumulative spreadsheets and/or reports relating to express parcel shipping activity and financial charges/payments.• Gathered from multiple sources (USPS, FedEx, UPS) and provided input to senior management financial information which was used to create the Annual Mail Management Report (AMMR). The AMMR is used to create the Census Bureau facilities and management budget.• Assisted with the gathering and processing on mail information in support of the Mail Management Program and Postal Accountability.• Gathered and provided oversight of U.S. mail activity and reports. Ensured monthly United States Postal Service reports were obtained and provided to management by their prescribed deadline.

Regularly reviewed the contract SOW to make sure the vendor was fulfilling the project deliverables by the agreed upon deadline. Reported any issues immediately to the PM and senior management.•Developed audio/video (AV) procedures and training modules and conducted multiple AV training sessions for the NRCC personnel using the procedures I created. Analyzed existing AV systems and provided recommendations on the prioritization and acquisition of products and services in the NRCC facility. This included reviewing proposals from IT vendors soliciting contracts with FEMA IT.• Reviewed FEMA and federal government acquisition policy to ensure that the best vendors were selected in a fair, non biased manner.• Tracked and resolved information technology related issues related to phones, computers, and AV systems.•NRCC Emergency Team member for National Disasters and Incidents of Significance.•Supported the NRCC Director with budget, travel, scheduling, and other duties asassigned.
