CurrentOpen new criminal case matters for Defendant Appeals and Federal Habeas.Data transcribe and process complex legal documents into ProLaw case management system.Examine and identify court orders requesting a response from the Office of AG, meeting the court-imposed deadline.Independently review and docket incoming and outgoing legal documents to assigned attorneys and staff.Responsible for Docketing-related inquiries via phone and email to levels of Department staff and court clerks.Timely asses and process daily incoming and outgoing USPS legal mail.Troubleshoot equipment and software with appropriate staff including TAC and BSU.Assist with training and mentoring new staff.Research and troubleshoot issues for misplaced, misrouted, and miscellaneous documents for all legal divisions.Perform legal support to secretarial staff with transporting physical filings to local Superior Court of Appeal and United States District Courts.Ability to research, evaluate, and synthesize complex legal information effectively.Maintain organization in Docketing’s central files (such as Suspense and Miscellaneous) PDFs with the unit’s format.
