I love my job! I enjoy helping our patients find healthcare financing if needed, and working with their insurance companies to insure that they are receiving their benefits. I also do most of the scheduling for our doctors and hygienists. We work within a meditating community, so we see patients from all over the world, so communication is sometimes a challenge! I also am a certified dental assistant, and have maintained my radiology and infection control certification, so I can work chairside and take x-rays if needed. I am also our practice HIPAA and OSHA Compliance Manager. Our dental team is amazing to work with!Our office recently purchased the light needed to do in office whitening...we have completed several cases now and the results are amazing! I attended some continuing education classes regarding this procedure, the results so far have above and beyond what we hoped for. It's great to be able to see our patients' expressions when they see their new white smile for the first time!I completed all the necessary hours to receive my Fellowship in the ADAA, it was alot of hard work and writing, but now that I'm done, well worth the honor to represent our profession at the annual session. I can now add the initials FADAA after my name as well!
