I am a 20-year veteran in the theatre, entertainment and events industry. Being naturally curious, the first decade of my career was spent pursuing work in a variety of disciplines in theatre; Wardrobe, Props, Stage and Production management, Producing. The first half of the second decade was about re-visiting roles I had done before but working on larger scale events that stretched my project and people management skills, building on what I had learnt the decade before. In the latter half, I embarked on paths I had yet to tread - technical management and after that, corporate management.Through my 20-year journey, I have discovered the following:1) I enjoy new experiences that stretch my ability to adapt2) Although I naturally leap at opportunities, experience has taught me to look before I leap3) The multiple roles I've experienced and the breadth of entertainment products that I've worked on has helped me develop an empathy for teams I work with, gaining a deep understanding of challenges they face. All in all, this has made me a better explorer of solutions. As I step in my third decade, I do so with optimism and excitement. The advancements in connectivity, design thinking and innovative collaborations that blur the lines of art, science and technology, are heralds of magical experiences that are waiting to be created. Let's get started.
