I am pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing at The University of Texas at San Antonio, where I expect to graduate in December 2024. Since August 2021, I have been working as an Events/Marketing Student Assistant at the University Career Center, where I organize career fairs and table recruiting events for students and employers. I have developed core competencies in marketing, graphic design, and event management, as well as communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.In my current role, I use the Handshake website platform to coordinate and promote campus events, as well as to input and analyze employer information and Career expo attendance reports. I also create marketing collateral for the Career Center events, such as social media posts, newsletters, articles, and photography, using Adobe tools and my graphic design skills. I collaborate with the employer engagement team and other staff members to ensure the smooth operation and success of the events. I am motivated by the opportunity to help students and employers connect and find their best fit, and I enjoy learning from the diverse perspectives and experiences of the people I work with. I am always eager to improve my skills and knowledge. I am looking for a challenging and rewarding position in the marketing field, where I can apply my skills and creativity, and contribute to the growth and success of an organization.
