Here’s how I make a difference:Nonprofit Fundraising: I develop and execute strategic campaigns to ensure the sustainability of our programs, securing resources to empower single mothers and improve community wellness.Community Engagement & Program Development: I create and implement programs like The Chicana Farmer Edu-Plate Initiative, which integrates urban gardening and nutrition education into schools, focusing on sustainability, social-emotional learning, and intergenerational engagement to build healthier communities.Event Management: I plan and execute community events that foster learning, fundraising, and community building, creating supportive environments for families.Sustainability Advocate: I promote environmental sustainability through urban gardening, responsible sourcing, and reducing food waste, creating a positive impact on family and planetary health.Health-Conscious Chef & Advocate: With a Master's in Psychology and over 22 years of experience as a health-conscious chef, I advocate for the connection between food and mental well-being. My passion for humanity and knowledge led me to found this organization, focusing on supporting single working mothers. Through programs like The Chicana Farmer Edu-Plate Initiative, we teach children how to grow, appreciate, and eat better, laying the foundation for healthier lives.

Over the years, my entrepreneurial journey has led me to create, own, and operate a variety of businesses that reflect my dedication to nurturing both body and spirit. From founding Sophia's Garden Floral Studio to launching Bella Catering, Bella Café, Forkin Good, Ancient Yoga Studio, Athena Chef Apparel, Herbal Apothecary Vegan Market & Deli, and most recently Colibri Farm Collection—an online artisan culinary store—I've laid a solid foundation for enterprises focused on holistic well-being and culinary innovation.True Nourishment Corp is dedicated to promoting healthy living and supporting women in the culinary industry. Our ventures include Chedda.work, a labor app designed for the culinary workforce, and The Chicana Farmer, an all-female chef coat line.
