Marina's Ruby Slippers

Marina's Ruby Slippers is a non-profit organization that supports single mothers in all aspects of life. Our mission is to empower these women to survive and thrive in their roles as mothers and individuals. We focus on the mind, body, and soul, recognizing the importance of overall wellness and balance to succeed in all areas of life. Being a single mom can be overwhelming, and the pressure to provide for and raise children alone can affect mental health. That's why we offer all our members mental health support, including counseling and therapy sessions. We recognize that mental health is just as important as physical health and that taking care of oneself emotionally is vital to being the best parent one can be. In addition to mental health support, we offer nutrition and fitness resources to help our members achieve physical wellness. This includes access to healthy meal plans, cooking classes, exercise classes, and personal training sessions. We believe nourishing the body is as important as feeding the mind and soul, and we want to ensure that all our members feel their best physically. Marina's Ruby Slippers also recognizes the importance of community and support systems. We offer various events and gatherings where single moms can connect and build relationships. From parenting workshops to playdates for kids, we want our members to know they are not alone in this journey. We also offer fundraising and grant resources to help alleviate financial stress and provide additional support to our members.
