    Wonderland of Wishes (WOW) was a one-time charity event to raise funds in honor of a local Greater Philadelphia family, whose two of four children, have been diagnosed with a fatal and uncurable disease. Raised funds would assist the family in their expected and very costly medical and travel expenses for genetic testing purposes in Milan, Italy - spring 2013. I served in the capacity as Event Coordinator, Treasurer, Marketing, Sponsorships and General Contractor Facilitator. Based on a CandyLand Game Board concept, the event was conceived, compiled and executed in 6 weeks with a core team of 8 professionals. In-kind services, valued in the tens of thousands, were negotiated and solidifed with dozens of Greater Philadelphia suppliers. Local TV, radio and print media were secured to promote the event heavily. The WOW Event was held Sunday, December 3, 2012. Attendance crested 10,000 guests from 5 states with total funds in the six digit figures. The event model was unique and involved significant support from the community with volunteer numbers exceeding 200+.
