As Corporate Counsel for the Global Enterprise Segment-Americas, I am part of a team which supports sales in all aspects of the commercial transaction with Cisco's largest and most strategic customers in the Northeast United States.Highlights include: Act in general counsel-like role in support of a sales team generating over $2B in annual revenue. Negotiate large and strategic agreements, including Master Purchase Agreements for Products and Services, SaaS, XaaS, and Strategic Relationship Agreements for Cisco’s largest and most strategic enterprise customers, many of them Fortune 100 companies. Provide important legal and business counsel to sales, finance and business teams with respect to deal structure and negotiation approach. Give general compliance trainings and legal advice to Cisco’s internal sales and account teams. Supported Cisco’s Global Service Provider segment in Mexico to cover senior colleague’s short-term leave of absence, assuming primary counsel role on all sales, marketing, litigation, and general matters in Mexico. Coordinated and co-managed Cisco’s Legal Sales and Marketing summer intern program. As Chair of the Cisco Legal Pro Bono Committee, organized Cisco’s first global Pro Bono & Give Back Week for the Legal Department resulting in contributions by 150 legal professionals to 40 non-profit organizations worldwide as well as praise from the General Counsel during a company-wide check-in.
