The Danish government reorganized the danish taxation agencies under the Danish Ministry of Taxation. Among the changes, the government organized all projects working toward revamping old IT-systems into a dedicated agency, the IT and Development Agency of the Danish Ministry of Taxation.Here I am continuing my work on the new property valuation system, "Ejendomme og Grunde." I am working with Clojure, PostgreSQL (Amazon Aurora), and Amazon Web Services. I previously also worked with Apache Cassandra (Datastax Enterprise).I have taken on various other roles as a scrum master, deployment coordinator, database administrator, tech lead, and architect.I also took on the added responsibilities as an employee representative for 90+ academics and treasurer in the employee social club.

Rehfeld Partners promoted me to full consultant. I am working on a special project to open up a new market for clinical decision support systems for Rehfeld. The project is a collaboration between Rehfeld, The University of Copenhagen, Medtronic and Rigshospitalet to develop software to assist clinicians in caring for patients with implanted ICDs. In this project, I will work on developing the software and work on the software processes required for software medical devices.

I was hired into a consultant training position at Rehfeld Partners A/S, a Danish business intelligence consultancy. In this position, I gained experience in the various aspects of development on the Microsoft stack, and general consultancy skills such as creating estimates, managing time, managing project deliverables, and communicating with clients.I created value for the company by developing a casemix grouper for the Danish and Nordic DRG healthcare systems. The software product made the company competitive on the international DRG software market. It is the centerpiece of a complete solution suit for DRG software created at Rehfeld. This suite is an internationally unique offering that is of significant strategic importance for Rehfeld.

I created my own IT consulting company. I focus on software engineering and IT management. My main customer is Local Government Denmark, the association representing all Danish municipals. For the Local Government Denmark I am working on a large scale message based system integration project that aims to connect municipal IT systems nationwide.

I did a student project at Rehfeld Partners A/S, a danish business intelligence consultancy. I joined a four person scrum team where we practiced scrum methods including e.g. wall based scrum boards. Our aim was a proof of concept that would reduce the amount of trivial but labor intensive work consultants are faced with on Microsoft BI projects. We worked to create a ASP.NET MVC web application that would assist consultants in auto generating SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages. Our work was well received by the company.At the conclusion of this work I passed a scrum master certification from Scrum.org, the Professional Scrum Master I.

During the 2012 summer vacation I worked on a state sponsored summer of code initiative. The goal of this initiative was to spread the use of open source software within the Danish public sector. In my project I worked on the integration of an organization system based on a new Danish IT standard. Through this experience I acquired insight into the Danish public IT landscape, public sector IT standards and service oriented architectures (SOA)
