SAP SD Lead Business Analyst in the eCommerce team of a global manufacturer / reseller of medical supplies. Responsible for analyzing business requirements, analyzing / creating business cases, setting up projects and creating budgets for these projects and translating business requirements into functional specifications. Also responsible for managing small (€5K) to medium projects (up to €75K), project teams and corresponding budgets. - Responsible for organizing and conducting functional integration tests, system integration tests and user acceptance tests. Works in the daily issue handling and problem solving in the SD / eCommerce areas. - Acting as a bridge between technical specialist on one side and the functional specialists / business on the other side due to extensive functional knowledge as technical knowledge (in both programming as interfacing). Participated in a project for a SAP customer in Germany. Main tasks were modifying a web interface exposing PR’s / PO’s more flexible, adapting Adobe Forms, building a payroll interface for HR. Responsible for both the design (functional specification) as the implementation phase of the web service interface. For this interface remote function modules were being exposed to SharePoint using enterprise services. Changes were made using as much OO programming as possible. The main HR interface exported payroll data by creating a table in Excel and attaching this to an email. Change pointers were activated to help identify changed records.

On the 16th of March 2020 Curaçao entered a lockdown related to the Covid19 crisis. This resulted in a humanitarian crisis as over 50.000 people on the island found themselves without sufficient income to provide for themselves. As secretary of fundashon Kòrsou Solidario i Duradero (KSD) Dennis co-launched the initiative of "Samenwerkende Hulporganisaties Curaçao" bringing together 6 NGO's (Caritas, Unidat di Bario, Aliansa, Rotary Club of Willemstad, de Voedselbank and KSD) to provide food aid for those in need. During these initial months of the crisis this cooperation raised more than 3 million ANG and provided more than 25.000 food packages for families on Curaçao (each food package could sustain a family of 3 for two weeks).During this period Dennis acted as a board member and full-time project coordinator. As a project coordinator Dennis was responsible for guiding the buildup of the operation, coordinating over 250 volunteers (producing around 2000 food packages a week worth aprox 180K ANG) and maintaining contacts with other NGO's, businesses as well as with government departments. Also Dennis co-designed and guided the central registration of those in need of food aid and helped set up and manage a contact center with over 20 call center agents working remotely in shifts. After this period control of the operation was transferred to the Voedselbank. The Voedselbank still continues this operation together with the Red Cross Curaçao providing food and financial aid to those in need because of the Covid-19 crisis. Dennis continued as a board member of Samenwerkende Hulporganisaties Curaçao until October 2020.

Founder and managing director of EcoVersum. EcoVersum designs and builds eco solutions for water- and energy savings as well as agriculture and insulation (rain water harvesting, greenhouses, septic tanks, roof insulation, drip systems). Responsible for managing a total of 4 installation teams as well as for the daily management, finance and import. EcoVersum stands out as being innovative in new solutions as well as being able to adjust (new) technology to local circumstances. Winner of the JCI IOBA 'Creative Young Entrepreneur Award Curacao 2011' and runner-up in the ENNIA 'Best in Business Award Curacao 2011'.

Worked together with a functional consultant on PM implementation. Built interfaces which transferred infrastructure data to SAP function locations and equipment using classifications. Assisted the business functionally in the PM area. Design and implementation of automation of HR standard letters using tailor made SAP workflows for the approval process of theses letters. Integration with HR PA and OR. Implementation and correction of standard SAP HR workflows. Team member for a selection and acquisition project for a new contact center system (budget USD 2M). This team performed a scan of the existing suppliers of contact center systems and selected the supplier that best fit the UTS demands and requirements based on a RFI and a RFQ. Price and configuration negotiations were prepared and held and management was advised and assisted during the final stages of the negotiations. Contact person and held responsibility for all IT related issues and questions. Project leader and architect for the development of a sales portal / POS system that enabled UTS third party dealers to sell UTS products and services without having direct access to the back office systems. This portal used Drupal CMS in the front end, the Business Connector as a message broker / interfacing platform and various back office systems (SAP, Comverse, Platypus etc.). Interfacing connections were made using ao the RFC’s, SOAP, JDBC, Java and http protocols. Besides Dennis (project leader and ABAP specialist) the team consisted of two Java / PHP developers, two graphical designers and one SAP functional SDMM specialist.Team member in the preparation and implementation of Comverse, a new OSS/BSS (operations support system / billing support system). Responsible for all interfacing with the Comverse SAPI layer (Java based) as well as functioning as an application architect for the more complex interfaces between Comverse and other back office systems of UTS (SAP, CRM, provisioning systems etc.).

Maxxium worked with two interfacing systems namely the Business Connector and the TIE messaging portal (EDI messaging) as well as with IDOCS. Tasks included the building and maintaining of interfaces (EDI/IDOC and other protocols) in 35 countries and this required maintaining regular contact with both Maxxium offices and warehouses but also with customers in various countries. Responsible for creating the technical and functional design with blueprint boundaries. Responsible for managing all external resources required during the technical EDI implementation project as well as for the functional implementation and project documentation. Responsible for training of local staff in monitoring and troubleshooting the interfaces from a functional point of view.Building and maintaining of customer interfaces (orders, invoices, despatch advices, picking confirmations, banking interfaces etc) in The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Spain and the UK (mainly IDOC/ EDIFACT/ TRADACOM).Starting up the project for the implementation of SAP Xi and guiding the implementation of Xi.Participant of the mobile sales teamResponsible for the coordination and structuring of all authorization tasks including assisting the global security manager. Creation of single and composite roles. Guarding and expanding the global authorization template. Guarding segregation of duties and searching for violaions of the segregation of duties guidelines. Troubleshooting authorization issues (in composite / single roles and in auth objects). Examining and evaluating the authorization structure down to the auth object level.

Besides SAP consulting BBIT specializes in SAP ALL-IN-ONE solutions for small and medium businesses especially in the AGF (potatoes, fruits and vegetables) sector.Lead programmer at a SAP all-in-one template implementation at a wholesale fruits and vegetables import and export company. Responsible for the coordination of all ABAP tasks (programming, forms, conversion etc) as well as for the design and implementation of specific transactions. The goal was to limit the modification to standard SAP to a minimum and to solve as much issues as possible within the standard SAP framework. This meant regular use of BADI’s, screen exits and user exits as well as assisting functional colleagues while searching for alternative solutions. Dennis was responsible for building two major custom transactions specifically designed for the AGF sector. These were a new sales transaction (based on the VA01 transaction) and also a transaction that processed consignment fruit shipments from suppliers, determining the price and created and sent progress and final invoices to these same suppliers using fax or email.Member of the VNSG (Association of Dutch SAP users) portals group on behalf of BBIT and responsible for acquiring and disseminating gained knowledge within this area in BBIT.

During the first 9 months with Ctac trained as an ABAP programmer and worked within the ABAP maintenance department of Ctac. During this period work was performed on the whole spectrum of ABAP techniques (ABAP, SAPscript, Smartforms, ABAP objects, screenpainter, user exits, BADI’s, BAPI’s, BIM’s, call transactions, iDocs, OSS notes etc). Responsible for interfacing within Europe and with the US (using the Business Connector) at Tommy Hilfiger (Amsterdam office). Upgraded the Business Connector to version 4.7. Built and EDI to iDoc interface for the interchange of dispatch advices and order responses with Schiesser (a German supplier of undergarments). Designed and built an interface with a large volume printing company using FTP, HTTPS for the printing of customer invoices. Designed and built an interface for the sending of shipping information to UPS using iDocs, HTTPS and email. Furthermore built and adapted various ABAP programs in the retail and interfacing areas.Worked for De Boer Tenten on the design and implementation of a calculation system. These calculations were made in Excel by De Boer Tenten staff and then uploaded to SAP using a DCOM connection embedded in the Excel sheets (preparation in Excel using Macro’s and VBA). These calculations were then checked in SAP and new orders created or existing ones were adapted. This enabled sales persons working in various European countries to send their initial calculations to the main office in the Netherlands at the click of a button. Used techniques were DCOM, tRFC’s, call transactions, BIM’s.Designed and built a number of demo’s researching the application of IR-scanning in mobile devices (pocket pc) linked with SAP. These scenario’s included both online as offline functionality. Communication with SAP was enable through the Business Connector using DCOM, FTP, CSV files and HTTP and programmed in visual basic, embedded visual basic, Java and dotnet.

Independant consultant on the areas of IT advice, organisational advice, quality advice and quality management systems (ISO). Guided and implemented an ISO 9001:2000 certification project at Kaleidoscope printing company in Almelo and a ISO 9001:2000 certification project at plastics packaging company in Lelystad. These projects included to review and understand the production process, business processes and communication processes and identifying possible issues and finding points for improvement. The greatest task was getting the organization as a whole quality conscious and on a path for continuous improvement (TQM). Team member for an ERP implementation (TelicNT) for Stempher packaging in Rijssen. Tasks included assisting the project management, assisting in the development of an IT management department, creating reports and documentation concerning project progress and creating reports using Crystal Reports. Also created (online) help files and designed and implemente an interfaces between Excel and TelicNT using visual basic. These interfaces consisted of elaborate calculation programs in Excel (using VBA, Macro’s, Pivot tables etc) which linked to TelicNT. These interfaces have been created for Stepmher, Kroon Oil, Swedamast and Uratec. Worked with TelicNT on the development of interfaces with various databases (SQL, FoxPro, and Oracle) and couplings with Office products aimed at creating more user friendly interfaces and speeding up data entry into the system.
